Lets talk recovery and why a marathon recovery can take longer than a 30 mile training run


Today's athlete question deals with recovery times and why it is that you recover faster from a 30 mile training run than you did from a marathon that you raced.

In order to adequately answer this question it becomes necessary to analyze the different energy delivery systems in the athlete's body.

This video is my interpretation of athlete data analysis regarding recovery times.
