Adapting Ironman training during a 50 miler taper week


Today's question deals with that enigma of the free online training plan.

Free online programs assume that you are doing only one endurance event and that at the end of their 16 or 21 week program. Real life is different.

How often do you have a taper week in the middle of what should be a big training block for your key event. How do you balance these?
